The 2nd International Student Conference, hosted by Masaryk University and Nicolaus Copernicus University, marked another successful gathering of legal minds.
Over two days, students from the Czech Republic and Poland utilized the Teams platform to share their insights on legal matters.
2 months of preparation preceded the event, starting with pre-conference activities like kick-off meetings. Participants delved into research, conducted surveys, drafted abstracts, and honed their communication skills to ensure their presentations were impactful.
The conference aimed to delve into legal dynamics, fostering open debates on pressing issues. Over 70 students from both countries, predominantly from the second year of law faculty, voiced their opinions on various legal challenges. Topics ranged from human rights issues such as abortion and same-sex marriage to criminal law concerns like the death penalty and recidivism.
The conference served as a platform for students to engage in meaningful discussions, contributing to a deeper understanding of contemporary legal issues.
