On March 17-20, 2025 Agata Piasecka from the University Centre for Foreign Languages visited the Teaching and Learning Center at the Complutense University of Madrid as part of the KA131 Erasmus+ grant.
Agata Piasecka conducted classes with students of the Complutense University in the field of English language methodology. The topic of the classes was the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) method and the primary school system in Poland. These classes allowed the students to deepen their knowledge of the methodology and compare the education systems in Poland and Spain.
As part of the visit, meetings with teaching staff were also held, which provided insight into the functioning of the unit. The discussions enabled the exchange of teaching methods and preparation of pedagogy students for the teaching profession. The meetings were also aimed to promote NCU and the exchange of teaching staff under the Erasmus+ program, as well as strengthen international cooperation. Moreover, the aim of the training part was to learn about practices in the field of education, both in a general and specialist context, and the work environment in a different culture.
