Ilia State University lecturers (Tbilisi, Georgia), Ms. Keti R. Janjibukhashvili (Team Leader/ Academic English/ EFL Teacher; MA in Education Management), Ms. Ana Laitadze (General English/EFL Teacher; MA in Linguistics; PhD in Public Administration ), Ms. Inga Koniashvili (Academic English/EFL Teacher; PhD in Social Sciences, Mass Communication and Journalism), and Ms. Mariana Mentesashvili (General English/EFL Teacher), visited us on a KA171 training mobility on online language teaching between 12-16th November 2024.
The training was aimed at skills development (digital tools specific to language education or developing innovative online strategies) as well as collaborative projects (participation in collaborative projects with international colleagues).
Our guests used this opportunity to network with our international guests from a YUFE-Ukraine seminar and presented their University as well as the methods they used in online language teaching. The Georgian lecturers were invited to collaborate internationally with the YUFE-Ukraine member universities on the online language projects.
KA171 training mobilities are a fantastic opportunity to build strong connections between academic staff from partner universities, encouraging knowledge sharing and joint projects. They also play a key role in promoting internationalisation, helping both universities grow their global presence and equipping staff with valuable international perspectives for enriching curricula.
