From 4 to 8 November 2024, UCJO was visited by participants of the LEnthusiasts Virtual Language Club from Georgia.
club, which in this semester of the 24/25 academic year deals with the subject of legal problems related to the implementation of AI systems.
Students participated in a language class led by Ms. Victoria Klavdich. During the "Two truths and a legal lie" class, they had the opportunity to compare elements of law in Ukraine, Georgia and Poland.
They also managed to take part in a lecture by the Comparative Law School at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University on the topic: Contemporary problems of human rights protection. The lecture was conducted by Dr. Julia Kapelańska-Pręgowska.
Ms. Ekaterine Bakaradze had classes with second-year students of NCU Law programme on UN Children Rights Convention and Megan's Law. She also took part in a meeting with the Director of UCJO, Adam Czajkowski.
An additional attraction for the guests was participation in the concert of Jeremy Pelt Quintet in Toruń's Od Nowa.
NCU students are also planning to visit Tbilisi
